Why use the Drip Irrigation System, and which are the benefits?



The need for applying contemporary irrigation systems increases not only because of the market imperative, but also as a measure for climate changes. Contemporary irrigation systems offer solutions which reduce water consumption, reduce undesired vegetation growth, increase product quality, and guarantee continuous quality. The drip irrigation system represents the most advanced irrigation technology which uses available water quantities in the most rational manner, and contributes to the yield increase. Drip irrigation system means equal and slow plant watering. It saves both time and money, can be easily installed and provides the required water quantity to each plant. The Drip irrigation system has many advantages compared to other irrigation methods, as follows: Water goes where needed, which is one of the greatest advantages for this type of irrigation. Driplines (hoses) are placed near the plants, thus watering only the root system. Water goes directly to the plant’s root. Water saving. Water is being efficiently used by watering only the root zone and by not watering areas without any plants, thus reducing the watering quantity.
Easy to install. The Drip Irrigation System is a relatively cost-effective watering system which is easy to install.
Equal and precise watering. No stress for plants due to sudden change in the moisture mode.
Reduction of weed occurrence. Due to providing watering exclusively in the root system zone, weed occurrence is reduced, since there is no unnecessary watering of the nearby area.

 

Why Foliar fertilization (feeding) and benefits?

 

For the purposes of ensuring normal development, yield, and of quality fruits, proper plant feeding mode is required. Proper feeding means availability of all biogenic macro and micro nutritious elements in optimal quantity, provided in the time when the relevant element is most needed by the plant. Foliar feeding of plants is obligatory, since due to various reasons, the availability of nutritious elements for the plants' root system is often limited. In other cases, quantities of nutritious elements required for fast growth of leaves, branches, or fruits exceed the quantities to be secured through regular absorption from the root and the transport processes. In both cases, foliar application could be the best manner to secure the required nutritious elements to the plant, with specific timing and with defined quantity. Foliar application of nutritious substances secures the possibility to supply nutritious elements directly on the leaves, flowers, or fruits in the period when the same are most required.

 

 


 

Use of Bioredworm – L in grain crops:

Microbiological flora; the significant number of beneficial microorganisms and mature humus in the soil represent the basis for planning fine and quality yield. Best results are achieved when Bioredworm-L is used immediately following the harvest. After harvesting, the straw is cut and treated (1 decare [0.25 acre] /2-3 litres Bioredworm-L).It is important for Bioredworm-L to be equally spread on the surface, followed by shallow ploughing. The presence of microorganisms in the soil significantly increases the percentage of organic matter in it.In about 50-60 days, the microorganisms from Bioredworm-L shall convert the straw into mature humus.The humus shall retain the soil moisture so that the plants shall have sufficient quantity of moisture also in the dry period of the year, which shall result into significantly increased yields.
In order to produce maximal effect, manure or plant residues from other cultures can be equally spread on the surface. Bacteria die hard in this phase, since if the current conditions are not favourable, they protect themselves through a spore release process, and are waiting for a proper moment to become active. The same are usually active when the soil temperature exceeds 6 degrees or when the air temperature is above 10 degrees.
Practice has shown that seeds treated with Bioredworm-L provides excellent results during sprouting, germination and root establishment, thus ensuring incomparably better plant growth and development than any other form of treatment prior sowing. Since plants have developed and advanced in an excellent manner, and have created the maximal yield potential, it is recommendable to have two more treatments in spring, end of February or the beginning of March, thus guaranteeing record yields!
 
Treatment options:
Option 1
First treatment: immediately following harvest (The condition is to treat the straw as stated above)
Second treatment:  feeding in spring
Third treatment:  feeding in spring

Option 2
First treatment: in autumn, following plant sprouting
Second treatment: feeding in spring
Third treatment:  feeding in spring

Option 3
First treatment: mineral fertilizer in autumn
Second treatment: feeding in spring
Third treatment:  feeding in spring


Gluten percentage is increased above 30% Bioredworm-L reduces diseases in plants by 50-80% Diseases in grain crops can reduce yield even by 30% Bioredworm-L is mixed with herbicides and insecticides If possible, not to treat in sunny weather. Best to treat early in the morning, in the afternoon, or in cloudy weather Air temperature should be above 10 C0, soil temperature above 6 C0easily to apply with significantly reduced costs.


 

Use of Bioredworm – L in viticulture:

Wineries producing top wines shall reduce the treatment with protective means, and could also produce higher yield which will be of significantly higher quality as compared to the yield treated with chemical fertilizers. - Vitamin C in fruits treated with Bioredworm-L and Bioredworm-S is increased 2-7 times, thus increasing the plant immunity and resistance to all types of diseases, drought, ice, and heat shocks.
The large number of beneficial microorganisms (above 100 billion in 1ml.)shall largely destroy the harmful microorganisms causing plant diseases.
New plantations treated with Bioredworm-S and Bioredworm-L shall provide their full yield one year earlier as compared to plantations treated with chemical fertilizers.
In accordance with our long-term experience, we recommend the following treatments.

Programme for foliar treatment of one decare (0.25 acre): 3 -5 treatments/ 2 - 3 litres Diluted with water:


First treatment:   In autumn, following the harvest.  With this treatment, plants shall be able to more easily deal with the extremely low temperatures, and shall be ready in spring for larger and healthier yield.
Second treatment:  Immediately following growth of young offshoots.
Third treatment:  After blooming.
Fourth and subsequent treatments: During fruit formation:

The number of foliar treatments and the Bioredworm-L quantity depends on the vineyard variety and age, and on the soil quality.
In foliar treatment, it is important to apply the recommended Bioredworm-L quantity.
Water quantity depends on the pump(consumed water litres per 1 decare)

Drip irrigation system:1 – 2 treatments .  3 litres
On plantations without drip irrigation system, additional 1 – 2 foliar treatments are recommended.
Withfoliar treatment, Bioredworm-L on leaves generates feeding through leaves, and feeding through the soil is generated when the one falls on the ground.
We recommend:
After pruning, dry branches are grinded (with attached grinder machine on branches), are treated with Bioredworm-L, followed by ploughing or tiller processing.
The excess green mass removed in spring is also grinded. This organic matter should not be underestimated.
The microbiological flora, significant number of beneficial microorganisms and mature humus in the soil represent the basis for fine and quality yield planning.


Use of Bioredworm – L in fruit plantations:

Fruit plantations treated with Bioredworm-L have more intense blooming, bigger and more equal fruits with stronger colours and better flavour and aroma.
Following the harvest, prolonged freshness of the fruit and improved transport tolerance is ensured.
Fruits mature 7-15 days earlier as compared to plants treated with chemical fertilizers.  
Plants provide their full yield one year earlier compared to plants treated with chemical fertilizers.
Vitamin C in fruits is increased 2-7 times, thus increasing the plant immunity and resistance to all types of diseases, drought, ice, and heat shocks. - Insect infestation is reduced.
 
Treatment programme for 1 hectare:
Foliar treatment:
3- 6 treatments with 20-30 litres Bioredworm-L per hectare. Diluted with water

The number of foliar treatments and the Bioredworm-L quantity depend on the plant variety and age, and on the soil quality.
In foliar treatment, it is important to apply the recommended Bioredworm-L quantity.
Water quantity depends on the pump type (consumed water litres per 1 hectare)
In accordance with our long-term experience, we recommend the following treatments.

First treatment: Following the harvest - the plant should be prepared for the winter, so as to start the spring with more young offshoots.
Second treatment: in early spring, together with fungicide and organic boron and zinc, so as to additionally protect the plants against hoarfrost and spring ice
Third treatment:  After falling of 70% of the flowers, together with insecticide
Fourth treatment: Upon formation of fruits, 10 days after blooming – so as to keep the fruits.
Fifth treatment: During fruit formation – to produce larger and more equal fruits.   
Sixth treatment: For larger and more equal fruits and stronger colours.
Seventh treatment: and perhaps the subsequent one: There is more yield to be fed.


Drip irrigation system:
  2-3 treatments with 30 litres/hectare
On plantations without drip irrigation system, additional 1 – 2 foliar treatments are recommended.
With foliar treatment, Bioredworm-L on leaves generates feeding through leaves, and feeding through the soil is generated when the one falls on the ground.

We recommend:
After pruning, branches are grinded (with attached grinder machine on branches), are treated with Bioredworm-L, followed by shallow ploughing or tiller processing.
The microbiological flora, significant number of beneficial microorganisms and mature humus in the soil represent the basis for fine, health, and quality yield planning.

Use of Bioredworm – L in vegetable crops:

Plants with one harvest per year (potato, cabbage, melon, watermelon, etc.) are treated 4-5 times with 3-4 litres per decare (0.25 acre).
Plants with several harvests (tomato, cucumber, pepper, etc.) are treated in 6-12 days, with 2-3 litres/ decare (0.25 acre)  depending on the plant variety and on the soil quality.


 

 

 

 

 
Bioredworm – L usage advantages:
Faster sprouting, root establishment, growth, and development of plants.
More blooming, fertilization of almost all flowers, faster fruit maturity, and more harvests.
Much healthier plants, higher resistance to diseases, drought, ice, and heat shocks.
Larger and tastier plants with stronger colours.
Prolonged freshness of the fruit and improved transport tolerance.
When harvests are finished for the plants fertilized with chemical fertilizers, the plants treated with Bioredworm - Lwill still be blooming and an additional harvest shall be secured.
The seeds for nursery plants is submerged in Bioredworm-L for about ten minutes. Practice has shown that seeds treated with Bioredworm-L provide excellent results in sprouting, germination, and root establishment, thus producing incomparably better plant growth and development than any other treatment form.
Bioredworm-L treatment programme for 1 decare (0.25 acre)  in plants with several harvests:
Foliar treatment:
Each 6-12 days with 2-3 litres per decare (0.25 acre). Water diluted
The number of foliar treatments and the Bioredworm-L quantity depend on the plant variety and on the soil quality.
In foliar treatment, it is important to apply the recommended Bioredworm-L quantity per decare.
Water quantity depends on the pump (consumed water litres per decare )
In accordance with our long-term experience, we recommend the following treatments.
First treatment: 10 days prior to nursery plant production, the soil for the nursery is treated.
Second treatment: Treatment of nursery plants in 5-7 days.
Third treatment: The soil for nursery plants is treated 10-15 days prior to transplanting.
When plants are mature for transplanting, it is best to first apply 50-70 grams Bioredworm-S (biohumus) in the holes in which plants shall be placed, so that the plant root will be in contact with Bioredworm-S.
Fourth treatment: Immediately following transplanting.
Fifth treatment: before blooming – so as to ensure additional and more intense blooming.
Sixth and subsequent treatments: During fruit creation, and after each harvest, for larger and more equal fruits and faster fruit maturation.
When blooming and fruit quantity exceed the regular ones, and the root cannot manage to feed all fruits, we recommend more frequent foliar treatment.
Drip irrigation system:
In 5-10 days, with 2-3 litres/decare, for additional blooming, faster maturation, and larger and more equal fruits.
